1 week.. over 240 deaths.. Maoists shud burn twice.. first on Earth..then in Hell

First the plane crash at Mangalore(courtesy.. authorities?..pilot?..fate?) and then the train mishap in Jhargram(courtesy.. Maoists).. total death toll over 240.. how does this feel..

It feels scary.. if nature doesnt get u.. a plane crash does..if still u r alive.. terrorists come into the picture..

Even if after all this anyone says maoists are human.. he/she doesnt have a heart..

Read yesterday's newspaper. What was most painful about the incident ws the story of the twin sisters - 2 young sisters who went to sleep hugging each other and died that way.. their parents(even they died) had saved for this holiday to Mumbai..the girls wanted to visit the Elephanta caves.. and this is how things come to an end for them.. noway..

moved to read this story.

Politicians ..operation Greenhunt.. govt.. all have failed..

Why can't we learn from our neighbours? Maoists should be dealt with the LTTE way. Lets settle the scores for once and all.

one cant help but wish one cud do sumthing abt it.. and only wish.. coz we all are a helpless lot.. we find it easy to criticize and complain sitting within the comforts of 4 walls that surround us.. our home our workplace.. but is it not something that shud b happening?

and r we nt responsible for it?

Jhargram is in West Bengal..a state where the same politicians hv been "ruling" for over 3 decades..or shud we say "rotting"? the other set of politicians who claim to be ready to bring abt a change if voted to power, resort to just one method of appealing to ppl - criticize the current set. Other set of politicians do exist.. but they are relatively unheard of..

If ppl could be more sensible in making proper use of their voting rights.. things would have been different. A lot of harm have already been done.. lets not allow room for more..

Lets take a pledge that we are going to serve our country every time we are supposed to. Lets VOTE.

My heart goes out to all those who died. Please pray for the souls lost.

Is everyone a people pleaser?

Its a funny world. What makes it funny are the people. We do everything to get our work done from sweet persuasive talk to eulogizing. Even people who claim that buttering is not an option on their list end up being people pleasers! How? Read on..

The art of pleasing is somewhat inherent. It can be our DNA or may be we inherit it when we are still in the womb. As kids how do we act as people pleasers? We request..no no demand for a toy and we get it. Once denied, the act begins. Still unaware of the harsh realities of the world, a child doesn't know how to purposely please his elders for what he wants. So he cries and sulks. This works for the child and he knows this is how it is likely to work the next time. This is his way of pleasing!

The child grows up and gets into school. The art of pleasing takes on a new form. Teachers are pleased to hear compliments from their students.."Mam you are looking so sweet in that Saree.", "Sir u are looking so handsome today.".. quite often it leads to lesser homework assignments and obviously shorter classes!

Remember that geek guy/girl in college? Yes the one who was not so hot and happening because he was too much involved with books. He was always ready to please and was the most easy to be pleased. A simple "you are my best friend" was enough to get your assignments done. Getting a proxy attendance was easier.

Then comes the job interview. Pleasing is a must. "Sir this is my dream company." Doesn't even matter if a dreamland ever existed!

Congrats! You are hired!

Continue pleasing to avoid getting fired!!

Even people who claim that buttering is not an option on their list end up being people pleaser! How?

Why wouldn't you please anyone? Simply because you think you don't need to because you are able and self-sufficient. So is it not that by doing what you believe in, you are actually pleasing yourself?

Pleasing ourselves is what we all end up doing anyway!
